Job summary

Autism Initiatives in Lisburn/Newtownabbey area is seeking a Senior Support Worker to assist autistic individuals in daily living, education and leisure activities. You will work on a range of activities to develop independence and access to work and education, within a supportive team.

The role requires at least six months experience with autism, NISCC registration or eligibility to register, and a full UK driving license. Interviews will be conducted in person at our head office in Belfast.

Qualifications

• Six months experience supporting people with Autism, learning disabilities and associated conditions.
• Be flexible to work according to the needs of our services.
• NISCC registered or apply to register on appointment.
• A full UK driving license for a manual vehicle, held for a minimum of one year.

Responsibilities

• Support people with Autism in activities to develop independence in daily living, education, work and leisure.
• Work alongside autistic people, providing specialist services tailored to each individual.
