Job summary

Autism Initiatives in Northern Ireland is seeking Full-Time Support Workers to assist individuals using our services with daily living activities, and access to work, education and leisure opportunities. You will join a team focused on independence and rights-based support.

Applicants should be flexible for rotas including weekends, be NISCC registered or apply to register, and hold a full UK driving licence for manual vehicles. Interviews will be conducted in person at our head office.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support, paid or voluntary.
• Flexible to work on a rota including unsocial hours and weekends.
• NISCC registered or apply to register on appointment.
• Full UK Driving Licence for manual vehicle held for at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Support people using our services with daily living, developing independence, and access to work/education and leisure activities.
• Work alongside autistic people, providing specialist, person-centred support.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high quality, respectful care and service delivery.
