Job summary

Autism Initiatives in Northern Ireland are recruiting for Full-Time Support Workers to assist individuals in developing independence and accessing education, work and leisure activities.

You will work closely with autistic people, applying a tailored, person-centred approach. A driving licence for a manual vehicle is required, and NISCC registration or progression to registration is expected. Interviews will be held in person at our Newtownbreda head office.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care or support in any setting.
• Flexibility to rotate across services, including unsocial hours and weekends.
• NISCC registered or must apply to register on appointment.
• Full UK driving licence held for manual vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing independence in daily living.
• Assist with access to work/education and leisure activities.
• Work alongside autistic people to tailor support to each individual.
