Lakeside School in Liverpool is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and SEMH needs. You’ll help them learn, develop abilities and raise self-esteem in a supportive, well-resourced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a classroom is preferred or training will be provided.
• Ability to support children with SEND and raise self-esteem.
• Resilience and dedication to helping pupils progress.

Responsibilities

• Support children with ASD/SEMH to learn and develop their abilities.
• Assist the teacher and therapists to implement lessons and strategies.
• Build a positive, inclusive environment and encourage pupil engagement.
• Contribute to safeguarding and DBS checks as required.
