Job summary

TimePlan Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants for an ASD base in Sutton. This full-time, long-term role involves supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a dedicated setting with small class sizes and high staff-to-pupil ratios.You will provide 1:1 and small group support, help pupils access the curriculum and develop socially and emotionally, and work with teachers and other professionals to achieve individual targets. Previous SEND experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD within the specialist provision.
• Support pupils to access learning, engage in lessons, and achieve individual targets.
• Implement EHCPs and personalised support strategies to meet students' needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
