Job summary

TimePlan Education is working with a supportive and welcoming school in Sutton that is looking to recruit several full-time Teaching Assistants to join their specialist ASD base on a long-term basis. Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND is essential.
• We are particularly interesting in hearing from candidates who have worked with pupils with ASD and have a good understanding of supporting additional needs within an educational or care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD within the specialist provision.
• Support pupils to access learning, engage in lessons, and achieve individual targets.
• Implement EHCPs and personalised support strategies to meet students' needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
