Location: Totton
Salary: £13.80 to £15 per hour

Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent

About the Role:

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will provide personalised care and support to students with autism, contributing to their well-being and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement personalised care and lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Create a supportive, inclusive environment that fosters trust and rapport.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and activities.
  • Administer medications following school policies and training.
  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, and eating, respecting students' dignity.
  • Support students in engaging with activities using effective communication strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Autism Support Assistant or similar role is preferred.
