Job Summary

The Mortgage Sales Support Officer will support Home Lending Loan Officers with daily operations and sales activities related to residential mortgage lending. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external clients across various regions, acting as a liaison to ensure smooth processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble application data and submit complete packages for processing
  • Assist with mortgage processing, document tracking, and gathering required documentation
  • Serve as a liaison between Loan Officers, clients, and operations teams
  • Manage incoming sales calls and customer correspondence
  • Coordinate with origination/support staff and external contacts
  • Follow up with clients on missing documentation
  • Maintain weekly pipeline calls and manage rate lock expirations
  • Review appraisals and mortgage commitments with loan officers
  • Ensure timely movement of loans through the pipeline
  • Generate production reports for performance review
  • Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and compliance policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1-3 years in banking, with mortgage sales and operations experience; knowledge of relevant regulations; proficiency in sales and customer service; strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Licenses & Certifications

Must comply with the SAFE Act requirements and pass necessary background and credit checks.
