PK Education Limited seeks Autism Specialist Teaching Assistants to support pupils in SEND resource provisions and specialist settings across West Yorkshire. The role emphasizes ASC, communication needs, sensory regulation, non-verbal pupils, and structured routines to foster a calm, engaging classroom environment.

You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver targeted interventions, support transitions, and promote positive engagement.

Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant Resource Provision

PK Education are seeking Autism Specialist Teaching Assistants to support pupils within SEND resource provisions and specialist settings across West Yorkshire from September 2026.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting:

• ASC
• Communication needs
• Sensory regulation
• Non-verbal pupils
• Structured routine support

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide a calm, engaging and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Delivering structured interventions
• Supporting transitions and routines
• Encouraging communication and engagement
• Managing sensory needs positively
