Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Specialist SEN Teacher to join a close-knit, collaborative team at a specialist autism school in Preston. This full-time, permanent role supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) using play-based, experiential learning approaches.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working within a specialist SEN setting supporting Autism (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
• Background in Primary or Early Years education with expertise in play-based and experiential learning.
• Nurturing, flexible, and creative approach to teaching with high expectations for pupils with complex needs.
• Genuine passion for improving educational outcomes for children with SEND.

Responsibilities
