Job summary

Scottish Autism’s Central Area Services - Forth Valley, Alloa, invites a Senior Autism Practitioner (Team Leader) to lead a dedicated team across housing support, care at home, day opportunities and outreach services. This full-time role (37 hours) offers progression, mentoring, and a focus on person-centred care with strong partnerships with families and professionals.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate supervisory experience in social care, working with autistic adults, and robust IT skills

Qualifications

• Leader who embeds Belonging, Empowering, Curiosity and Integrity in daily interactions and decisions.
• Experience in a supervisory or management role within social care.
• Experience supporting autistic people.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Good IT skills, including Word and Excel, with willingness to learn new systems including rota planning software.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and participate in an on-call rota.
