Job summary

Scottish Autism seeks Autism Practitioners (Support Workers) for our Fife Services in Glenrothes, Cowdenbeath, Cardenden and Lochgelly. Roles are available full- and part-time, with shifts including days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.

You will help autistic adults live fulfilling lives, building routines and life skills in a supportive environment. Applicants should be compassionate, confident and enthusiastic, with prior support experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support role is beneficial.
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
• Role involves 1:1 or 2:1 support arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with the people you support.
• Support personal goals and independence for individuals.
• Encourage participation in community activities.
• Contribute to personalised support plans and daily records.
• Assist with household tasks and personal care when required.
