Job summary

Scottish Autism is seeking staff to provide practical and emotional support to autistic and neurodivergent individuals across the Highlands. You will work in homes, communities and education settings, supporting children and adults with a person-centred approach.

Travel throughout the Highland area is required; driving is essential. Flexible hours include evenings and weekends, with 12-16 hours per week. A caring, independent worker is valued and training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• Must register with SSSC.
• Desirable: previous related experience is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a high quality, safe and stimulating environment for autistic and neurodivergent people.
• Work with children and adults in community, home and education settings.
• Communicate with service users, families and professionals using multiple channels.
