Qualifications

• Psychology graduates or SEN/learning support background with a focus on autism and SEMH.
• Experience or interest in supporting children with autism, SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• Ability to provide 1:1 and small-group support within a primary school SEN setting.
• Supportive and collaborative approach with SENCO and pastoral team.
• Patient, calm and empathetic to aid emotional regulation in pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and SEMH needs.
• Help pupils manage emotions, anxiety and behaviour in school.
• Develop positive relationships and promote engagement with learning.
• Follow individual support plans and behaviour strategies.
