Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
• Interested in careers in Teaching, Educational Psychology, Mental Health, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Youth Work.
• Patient, resilient, and able to build strong relationships with young people.
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
• Experienced working with children or young people through schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work, mentoring, or voluntary work (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, Autism, and additional learning needs.
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Building positive relationships with pupils to support their emotional wellbeing.
• Assisting children who may face social, emotional, behavioural, or academic barriers.
• Encouraging engagement and participation within the classroom.
• Supporting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Helping pupils develop social skills, resilience, and independence.
