Job summary
Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Support Worker for the Adult Learning Disabilities Service in Guernsey. The Autism Outreach team will place you in a caring, multi-disciplinary setting across supported living, outreach and community work.
You will help service users live independently, assisting with daily living, skills development and activities, with a person-centred approach tailored to individual needs. On-site work in Guernsey with relocation support available.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Support Worker in an Autism or Learning disabilities setting.
- Existing right to work in the UK/Guernsey – sponsorship cannot be provided.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Encourage independence and deliver person-centred support.
- Assist with daily living and promote skills development.
- Support activities and work closely with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide outreach and community-based support across housing/tenancy settings.
- Promote choice, independence and community presence for service users.
