Job summary

Fair Ways is seeking a Learning Support Worker to assist students with Autism Spectrum Conditions at our Totton school. You will provide 1:1 or 2:1 learning support within a bespoke curriculum tailored to each learner's needs, supporting transitions and activities.

Successful applicants will join a compassionate, resilient team and be prepared to participate in offsite activities while adhering to safeguarding and DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with autism or ASC is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid DBS disclosure.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive, resilient team.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and off-site support to students during lessons and activities.
• Support teaching staff to deliver high-quality learning opportunities.
• Model appropriate behaviour with honesty, understanding and initiative.
• Collaborate with the team, showing resilience, initiative and adaptability.
