Job summary

Federation of Westminster Special Schools is seeking an enthusiastic adviser/teacher to support autistic learners through training, coaching and collaboration with schools and families. You will promote inclusive practices and monitor student progress within the Bi-borough framework.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, data analysis and inter-agency collaboration to ensure high-quality provision and consistent support for autistic learners.

Qualifications

• QTS and postgraduate autism qualifications required.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and KCSIE 2026 essential.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD related to SEND/autism desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and advice to schools on inclusion and education of autistic learners.
• Deliver specialised teacher support to raise achievement and independence.
• Advise SEN department on statutory assessment, annual reviews and placements.
• Monitor quality of provision and provide data to demonstrate impact.
• Develop and monitor learning programmes for autistic learners.
