Job summary

Daisy Chain is seeking a part-time Parent Training Co-ordinator to lead the development and delivery of learning for parents and carers of autistic and neurodivergent individuals. The role involves creating accessible workshops, delivering them online and in community venues, and connecting families with local support across the Tees Valley region.

You will join the Family Support Team at the Daisy Chain Day Centre and work with colleagues to promote sessions, manage bookings, and maintain

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in autism, education, health & social care, training or community work.
  • Experience safeguarding children, young people or adults at risk.
  • Experience delivering training, workshops or group sessions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel across the region for occasional face-to-face delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver autism and neurodiversity learning workshops for parents and carers.
  • Facilitate engaging sessions online and in-person.
  • Create and update workshop materials and supporting resources.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local services and referral pathways.
  • Coordinate bookings, attendance records and participant communications.
  • Signpost families to appropriate services and provide support.
