Sedgemoor Manor School is recruiting Teaching Assistants to join our Education team. You will support learning across all key stages, work alongside the class teacher, and help pupils engage and learn by building trusted relationships and applying appropriate strategies from pupil education plans.

Experience as a Teaching Assistant or carer is beneficial, with training provided. The school serves pupils aged 7–19 with autism and related needs, offering a supportive environment with opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or carer is beneficial but training will be provided.
• Ability to engage pupils with autism and complex needs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across key stages by assisting the class teacher.
• Deliver personalised curriculum packages and motivate students.
• Support pupil engagement, relationships and learning strategies.
• Assist with safeguarding and welfare checks as required.
