Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Audit Supervisor to join its Audit, Accounting & Advisory team, based in Blackburn or Bury.

ACA/ACCA-qualified with 4+ years' external audit experience is required; role offers progression toward Audit Manager and a flexible hybrid working pattern across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. You will manage on-site audit assignments, lead teams, and develop junior staff while maintaining strong client relationships and high audit quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years' external audit experience.
• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of statutory audit and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site audit teams across a varied portfolio of corporate clients.
• Take responsibility for statutory audit assignments of varying sizes and complexity.
• Review and manage audit files, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Report directly to Audit Managers and Responsible Individuals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing an excellent level of service.
• Work closely with managers, directors, partners and corporate tax colleagues.
• Support, train and develop junior members of the audit team.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit quality, processes and efficiency.
• Assist with year-end accounts preparation and ad hoc advisory projects.
