Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions Ltd is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager in the Blackburn area. You will work with Audit Managers and Responsible Individuals, managing audits from planning through to completion and serving as the main client contact for a diverse portfolio.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification (or finalist with imminent sign-off) and 3-4+ years of UK audit experience, with strong supervision and client engagement skills.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or finalist with imminent sign-off).
• 3-4+ years UK accountancy practice experience focused on external audit.
• Strong ability to lead audit engagements, supervise staff, and review work papers.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, liaising with clients and RI as needed.
• Review junior work and provide on-the-job training and feedback.
• Maintain high technical standards and ensure audit files meet UK GAAP/ISAs requirements.
