Get Recruited Ltd has partnered with an established accountancy practice to hire an Audit Assistant Manager in Blackburn (hybrid working). The role offers £45,000-£55,000 plus great benefits and a clear route to Audit Manager.

You will manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, review junior staff, develop client relationships and stay up to date with UK GAAP and FRS 102. ACA or ACCA qualification (or strong finalists) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA, or strong finalists considered.
• Experience in UK accountancy practice and audits.
• Ability to lead audit assignments and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Review work of junior/part-qualified staff and provide feedback.
• Coordinate fieldwork and ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
• Prepare audit findings and recommendations for clients.
• Maintain knowledge of auditing standards and regulatory developments.
