Job summary

Get Recruited (UK) Ltd in Blackburn is seeking an Audit Senior to join a growing practice on a hybrid basis. You will lead audits from planning through to completion, supervise trainees and develop strong client relationships, with UK GAAP and FRS 102 knowledge.

The role offers £42,000-£48,000 plus benefits. ACA or ACCA qualification (or finalist) and proven UK audit experience are essential, with the ability to travel to client sites when required.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification or finalist level required.
• UK audit experience in a practice required.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and ISA beneficial.
• Experience supervising or supporting junior colleagues and trainees.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Develop understanding of client business, systems and environment.
• Prepare audit working papers and ensure compliance with standards.
• Review work of trainees and junior staff and provide feedback.
• Communicate audit findings to client finance teams and senior stakeholders.
