Get Recruited (UK) Ltd is helping an established Blackburn accountancy practice fill an Audit Assistant Manager role with hybrid working. You will oversee audits from planning through to completion, building strong client relationships and guiding junior staff.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA-expected or qualified, with UK GAAP/FRS 102 knowledge and a track record of managing audit assignments. The role offers £45,000-£55,000 and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified or finalists considered for ACA/ACCA
• Experience leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and ISA

Responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning to completion
• Prepare audit plans and testing strategies
• Coordinate audit fieldwork to meet deadlines and budget
• Review work by junior colleagues
• Identify issues and provide practical recommendations
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under UK GAAP/FRS 102
• Support corporation tax computations and related work
• Coach and develop junior team members
• liaise with clients and senior stakeholders
