Job summary

BDO UK LLP is seeking a Resource Manager to optimise resource allocation and deliver accurate management information. You will collaborate with the Audit Resourcing Directorate and business leaders to drive efficient staffing and risk mitigation, while maintaining a flexible, agile working approach across offices in the UK.

You’ll bring demonstrated experience in professional services environments, excellent stakeholder communication, and a proactive mindset to continuously improve resourcing

Qualifications

• Experience in resource planning and management processes.
• Intermediate IT skills: MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to operate under pressure with conflicting priorities, tight deadlines and demanding stakeholder needs.
• Ability to interpret and analyse MI and data to identify and solve problems.
• Continued professional development of yourself and others, seeking challenges and opportunities.
• Experience in a professional services firm (desirable).
• People management experience (desirable).
• Previous experience of Dayshape (desirable).

Responsibilities

• You will ensure optimum resource allocation and utilisation across the business.
• You will provide timely and accurate management information to stakeholders by identifying shortfalls, clashes and inefficiencies to aid contingency planning and risk mitigation.
• Act as the key liaison between the Audit Resourcing Directorate (ARD) and the business.
• Support leadership with KPIs and risk assessment related to resource planning.
