• Proven experience in resource management.
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to deliver key messages to a range of stakeholders.
• Commercial approach - focusing on the key needs of the stream to ensure right size and shape to deliver high quality work.
• An inquisitive mindset, keeping up to date with industry changes and adapting to changes in technology.
• Ability to build and articulate a story from underlying data.
• Experience working in a professional services environment.
• An understanding of the financial audit process.
• Knowledge of Dayshape or a similar resourcing solution.

Responsibilities

• The Cluster Senior Resource Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, performance and continuous improvement of the resourcing function across a portfolio of business units within the cluster.
• The role ensures a consistent, effective and commercially focused approach to workforce planning, resource deployment, capacity management and talent utilisation.
• Acting as a trusted adviser to the Cluster Resourcing Partner and the Audit Resourcing Directorate, the role translates business priorities into workforce strategies that optimise capacity, improve performance and support sustainable growth.
• You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively.
• You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
