Job summary

BDO UK LLP is seeking a Resource Manager within Audit Resourcing to define and deliver a strategic resourcing plan across a business unit. You will influence senior stakeholders, lead workforce planning, and ensure alignment with commercial goals and audit quality.

You will operate as a trusted adviser to Directors and Partners, guiding planning cycles and delivering high-impact outcomes while supporting agile working and career development within the team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in resource planning, workforce strategy, or operations within professional services.
• Proven track record of leading resourcing strategy and delivering outcomes across large portfolios.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to make high-impact decisions.
• Established experience influencing senior stakeholders (Director/Partner level).
• Strong leadership capability, including team management and performance oversight.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the resourcing strategy across a business unit or sector.
• Provide senior leadership on workforce planning, operational delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
• Own resourcing outcomes, commercial performance, and audit quality.
• Act as strategic decision-maker and trusted advisor to Directors and Partners.
