Job summary

BDO UK is seeking a Resource Manager to optimise resource allocation and provide accurate management information to senior stakeholders. You will work with the Audit Resourcing Directorate, aligning resourcing strategies with business needs and delivering KPI insights.

You will coordinate planning, manage priorities under pressure, and contribute to risk mitigation while collaborating with partners and senior managers to drive performance and value across the firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in resource planning and management processes with exposure to tools and systems.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to interpret and analyse MI and data to solve problems.
• Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities and deadlines.
• Professional services firm experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource planning and allocation to meet project needs.
• Provide timely and accurate management information to stakeholders.
• Identify shortfalls, clashes and inefficiencies for contingency planning.
• Act as liaison between ARD and business leaders, informing KPIs and risks.
• Support leadership with risk mitigation and operational improvements.
