Job description

Our client is a well‑established Accounting and Advisory firm experiencing a period of strategic growth. As part of their strategic expansion, they are seeking to bring additional leadership into the team to support continued growth.

This is a unique need for an Audit Partner to lead their Audit offering in Scotland from either a base in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen. This would suit a very experienced Audit Director or current Audit Partner with the appetite to build a portfolio of Audit clients in Scotland with support from the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a client attraction and business development strategy
• Execute plans to grow the audit practice and expand market share
• Mentor, coach, and develop senior audit talent, building a strong talent pipeline
• Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, innovation and continuous improvement

Experience/skills needed

• Significant experience as a senior external audit professional in practice/professional services
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to lead on complex audit matters
• Proven experience influencing audit quality and methodology
• Demonstrable track record of developing teams and driving growth of an audit portfolio
