Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is assisting a highly regarded Carlisle-based Chartered Accountants firm to appoint an Audit Partner. You will own a diverse portfolio of audit clients, lead and develop a talented team, and influence the strategic direction of the firm from partner level.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with significant post qualification experience at a senior level.
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
• Proven track record of managing audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors.
• Provide technical guidance and support to audit managers and their teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the firm.
• Support the development and mentoring of junior and senior staff members.
