Job summary

PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED on behalf of a leading accountancy and advisory firm invites applications for an Audit Partner to support the growth of its Northern Practice. The role covers Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and surrounding regions, focusing on building strong client relationships and driving growth.

You will act as a trusted adviser to boards and senior teams, lead complex audits, and collaborate with Audit, Tax and Advisory colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with RI status.
• Significant audit experience in a professional services environment.
• Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and leading complex audit engagements.
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrable success in business development and practice growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships across a diverse range of audit clients.
• Act as a trusted adviser to boards, executive teams and key stakeholders.
• Drive business development activity and identify new growth opportunities.
• Deliver high-quality audit engagements while maintaining regulatory excellence.
• Collaborate across Audit, Tax and Advisory teams to provide integrated solutions.
• Contribute to the growth and strategic development of the Northern audit practice.
