MHA is seeking an Audit Manager to lead a London-based portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality audit and accounts work and maximizing fee income. You will manage resources, coordinate teams and maintain strong client relationships while delivering value across the client base.

The role requires effective supervision of staff, budgeting, and robust communication with Partners. A proactive approach to risk management and advisory input is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience managing audit engagements and client portfolios.
• Ability to plan and allocate resources for audit and accounts work.
• Strong leadership and training skills for junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, control and review client work to ensure efficient delivery.
• Manage client relationships and pre-audit discussions.
• Prepare budgets and fee schedules for assignments.
• Brief and supervise audit staff on assignments and ensure quality control.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of work.
• Draft management letters, final accounts and engagement letters.
• Attend client meetings when appropriate.
