MHA is seeking an Audit Manager to lead a portfolio of OMB, PE-backed and overseas-owned clients. You will oversee planning, budgeting and delivery of audit assignments while mentoring staff and identifying value-added opportunities for clients.

The role emphasizes strong technical knowledge (FRS/IFRS/UK GAAP), client relationships and commercial awareness within a dynamic, people-focused practice. Agile working options are available in the UK.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with practice experience.
• F RS102, FRS101 and IFRS & UK GAAP knowledge.
• Experience at AM-grade or Manager level in audit.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of OMB, PE-backed and overseas-owned clients across sectors.
• Maximise fee income by delivering MHA services and efficiently managing resources.
• Plan, control and review client work to ensure timely, efficient delivery.
• Hold pre-audit meetings with clients to understand events affecting the business and highlight areas needing attention.
• Prepare a time budget for each assignment to enable profitability.
• Ensure trainees are allocated a variety of jobs to provide training and experience.
• Complete 6 monthly appraisals and sign off training records for staff development.
• Complete staff review forms after each job to provide feedback for improvement.
• Identify opportunities for additional services that MHA can provide to clients.
• Identify and target new clients through networking, marketing and referrals.
• Carry out ad-hoc project work including compliance or value-added services.
