Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced audit professional to manage a portfolio of audit clients and lead engagements from planning through to completion.

The role requires ACA or ACCA qualification with strong technical audit knowledge and a proven ability to coach and develop team members. Hybrid working and clear progression opportunities are offered, with exposure to diverse clients across sectors.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Proven experience managing audit assignments in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical audit knowledge and reviewing complex audit files.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion and final delivery.
• Review audit files and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Act as primary client contact and build long-term relationships.
• Support and develop Audit Seniors, Supervisors and Assistant Managers.
• Collaborate with Directors on client delivery, BD and team performance.
• Contribute to resource planning, workflow management and growth initiatives.
