Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to lead and contribute to audits for a diverse client portfolio across sectors. The role suits an experienced Audit Senior or an existing Assistant Manager seeking greater responsibility and career progression.

You will support planning through completion, supervise junior staff, and collaborate with Partners to deliver high-quality audit, accounts and advisory work within a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing qualification.
• Strong audit background in an accountancy practice.
• Good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Experience supervising or reviewing junior staff.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Review audit files, accounts and financial statements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise and mentor junior audit team members.
• Assist with resource planning, budgeting and workflow management.
• Work closely with Managers and Partners on engagements.
• Provide commercial and technical support to clients.
