Job summary

TPF Recruitment is seeking an Audit Manager to join a growing firm of chartered accountants based in Rochester. This role offers a clear path toward Responsible Individual status and the chance to lead a diverse audit portfolio.

You will oversee audits from planning through to completion, build strong client relationships, and work with senior leadership on technical matters while promoting team development. A balanced approach to work and regular progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification, or equivalent.
• Experience at Audit Manager level in UK accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK auditing standards and accounting standards.
• Experience managing multiple assignments with deadlines.
• Leadership and communication skills; practical client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients across sectors from planning to completion.
• Ensure audits meet standards, budgets and deadlines.
• Lead audit planning and completion meetings.
• Review audit files and statutory accounts.
• Develop client relationships and liaise with RI.
• Plan workloads and staff allocations.
• Coach and develop colleagues.
