Job summary

TC Group in Rochester, United Kingdom, is seeking an Audit Manager to join our growing audit team. You will manage a diverse client portfolio from planning through completion, delivering high-quality audits to deadlines and building strong client relationships.

You will lead planning and completion meetings, mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with UK auditing standards. We value collaboration, development and a proactive, commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Audit Manager level experience in a UK practice is expected.
• Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit clients from planning to completion.
• Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, on time and to high standards.
• Lead planning and completion meetings and mentor senior staff.
• Be the primary client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Identify technical and commercial issues and provide practical solutions.
• Manage audit resources and communicate requirements to RI.
• Provide technical guidance to the audit team and review files.
• Review statutory financial statements for compliance.
• Coach and develop team members and promote continuous improvement.
