We are seeking an Audit Manager to join their Audit & Assurance team and lead a substantial client portfolio with meticulous planning, staff briefing, and adherence to auditing standards.

You will oversee assignments, ensure quality, manage budgets, and drive client relationships while mentoring staff and pursuing business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience at a managerial level in audit
• Proven ability to manage client portfolios and build relationships
• Familiarity with SME sector audit practices is advantageous
• Business development activities experience is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit assignments ensuring they align with client standards and budgeting
• Uphold audit quality and participate in QA activities
• Brief staff on client nuances and pre-assignment requirements
• Ensure timely completion within budget and liaise with clients and partners
• Cultivate client relationships and deliver excellent service
• Collaborate across departments to meet client needs
• Stay updated on technical developments through CPD
• Identify opportunities and contribute to proposals and client presentations
• Mentor junior staff within the team
