Job summary

MHA is seeking an Audit Manager in Milton Keynes to lead a portfolio of OMB, PE-backed, and overseas-owned clients across various sectors. You will plan, control, and review engagements, managing resources effectively to optimise fees and service quality.

The role requires ACA/ACCA with practice experience, proficiency in UK GAAP (FRS102/FRS101) and IFRS, and prior manager-level leadership. You will mentor trainees, conduct six-monthly appraisals, and seek additional advisory opportunities.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with practice experience.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102/FRS101) and IFRS.
• Manager grade experience in an audit environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of OMB, PE-backed and overseas-owned clients across multiple sectors.
• Plan, control and review client work to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and new clients through networking and referrals.
• Lead and develop staff, including appraisals and training records.
