MHA Audit Executive (Qualified) in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced professional to manage a portfolio of clients, ensure timely audits, and deliver insights beyond numbers. You will supervise junior staff and liaise with departments to maintain compliance timelines.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification and strong communication skills, with exposure to tax computations desirable. The firm emphasises people, growth, and agile working within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified and practice experience.
• Good communication skills, oral and written.
• Basic knowledge of tax computations (desirable).
• Computer experience with Sage, Excel, Word and CaseWare.
• Supervising junior staff experience (6–12 months) preferred.
• Up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across industries, meeting deadlines and reporting to Managers/Directors/Partners.
• Handle client correspondence, organise assignments and scheduling.
• Assist planning memorandum, identify risk areas and gather audit evidence efficiently.
• Supervise and review juniors, ensure files are complete before final review.
• Coordinate with departments to schedule compliance work appropriately.
• Collate raw data and summarize into review-ready formats.
• Monitor filing deadlines, including Corporation Tax and Companies House filings.
• Conduct on-site client visits and build trusted advisor relationships.
