Job summary

MHA in Milton Keynes is seeking an Audit Senior Manager to lead complex audits across a diverse portfolio and build strong client relationships. You will support Partners and Directors, manage budgets, and drive value beyond the numbers.

Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with 5+ years post-qualification external audit experience, UK GAAP knowledge, and leadership skills are essential. Proficient Excel and experience with Sage/CaseWare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of 5 years’ post qualified experience in external audit, accounts and general practice.
• Experience working with OMBs, SMEs & some larger businesses across multiple industries.
• Excellent technical knowledge: UK GAAP, FRS102, FRS101 and IFRS.
• Proficient in MS Excel & Word; Sage and CaseWare experience preferred.
• Strong leadership: motivate, delegate, develop the team and lead client relationships.
• Commercial mindset with ability to identify opportunities within the portfolio.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Partners and Directors in delivering the firm’s strategy and lead client relationships on complex assignments.
• Manage a large portfolio, balancing output with client expectations and budgets.
• Motivate and develop the team across multiple projects, delivering practical solutions.
• Lead on challenging assignments and identify new business opportunities within the portfolio.
• Encourage challenging the status quo and drive the team forward.
