Job summary

RSM UK is expanding its audit leadership in the banking and lending sector, delivering audits with IFRS 9 emphasis while managing a diverse client portfolio. You will mentor staff, support technical teams and contribute to growth strategies, advancing audit methodology and staff development.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent and strong IFRS 9 experience, with proven leadership and stakeholder communication skills across a variety of lenders.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification required.
• Strong IFRS 9 expertise with ECL experience in lending.
• Proven audit leadership and ability to manage complex assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver statutory audits for lending clients with IFRS 9 focus.
• Oversee staff, provide training, and resolve key audit matters.
• Present at client audit committees and support business development.
• Recruit, mentor and develop junior team members; lead projects.
• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance audit methodologies.
