Job summary

RSM UK is expanding its audit offering in the banking and lending sectors. We are seeking an Audit Manager to lead the delivery of audits with a strong emphasis on IFRS9 and expected credit losses, while managing a diverse portfolio.

You will mentor team members, support technical training, and contribute to growth initiatives. The role offers a hybrid mix of London office and client-site work, with clear opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification.
• Seasoned Audit Manager with IFRS 9 expertise in expected credit losses.
• Experience auditing ECL models for lending products such as mortgages and personal loans.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of statutory audits in the lending sector, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Oversee staff, provide training, and brief on assignments with senior client staff.
• Present at client audit committees and support business development including scoping and pitching.
• Lead recruitment, line management, and development of junior team members.
• Collaborate with national technical and training teams to enhance IFRS9 audit methodologies.
