Pro-Recruitment is seeking an Audit Manager to join the Banking & Lending team in Manchester. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of statutory audits for lending clients, delivering high-quality work and leading audit engagements.

You will develop junior talent, contribute to technical initiatives, and support business development. Hybrid working is available, with opportunities to engage with senior stakeholders and drive growth in a specialist service line.

Qualifikationen

• ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience at Audit Manager level within practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS 9 and ECL.
• Experience auditing ECL models across lending products (mortgages, personal loans, credit cards).
• Experience with banking, commercial finance or retail finance clients.

Aufgaben

• Manage statutory audits across the lending sector, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Lead audit teams, allocate work, coach staff and provide technical support.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with senior stakeholders.
• Attend client audit committee and board meetings as required.
• Support business development, scoping engagements and pitches.
• Contribute to recruitment, team development and sector training.
• Collaborate with national technical and training teams to enhance IFRS 9 methodologies.
• Contribute to growth of the Banking & Lending audit offering.
