Job summary

Crowe Watson Recruitment is partnering with a leading Chartered Accountants firm in Hull to recruit an Audit Manager. You will lead audit engagements from planning through to completion, manage a small audit team, and act as a trusted client contact.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
• Strong technical audit knowledge, ideally with UK GAAP and IFRS exposure.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients from planning to completion.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior members of the audit team.
• Liaise directly with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Review audit files and ensure compliance with current auditing standards.
• Support senior management with business development and client onboarding.
