Job summary

bk plus is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Brentwood-based team with occasional travel to the Brighton office or client sites. The role focuses on developing the operational capabilities of our audit team to support growth.

Key duties include leading audits from planning through finalisation, supervising field teams, reporting to Responsible Individuals and the Brentwood Partner, and preparing statutory accounts in line with FRS102 and Charity SORP.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Strong background in audit.
• Demonstrable technical knowledge.
• Experience with IRIS and working papers.

Responsibilities

• Running Audits from planning through to finalisation.
• Managing Audit teams in the field, progressing more junior members to planning and testing on individual sections of the audit file.
• Reporting to Responsible Individuals and Brentwood Partner.
• Preparing statutory accounts in compliance with FRS102, Charity SORP, etc.

We are currently recruiting for an Audit Manager to join our team based in Brentwood with occasional travel to the Brighton office or to visit clients. This role will help to develop the operational capabilities of our highly regarded audit team to enable the division to continue to grow.

As an Audit Manager your role will involve:

• Running Audits from planning through to finalisation
• Managing Audit teams in the field, progressing more junior members to planning and testing on individual sections of the audit file
• Reporting to Responsible Individual’s and Brentwood Partner
• Preparing statutory accounts in compliance with FRS102, Charity SORP, etc

The Ideal Audit Manager will:

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified
• Have a strong background in Audit
• Be able to demonstrate a strong Technical knowledge
• Have experiencer with IRIS and working papers
