Job summary

bk plus is recruiting an Audit Manager to join our Brentwood team, with occasional travel to the Brighton office or to client sites. You will lead audits from planning to finalisation and manage field teams, guiding junior staff on sections of the audit file.

The ideal candidate is ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong audit background and solid technical knowledge, including experience with IRIS and working papers. The role offers exposure to diverse clients and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Strong background in audit and technical knowledge essential.
• Experience using IRIS and working papers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run audits from planning through to finalisation.
• Manage audit teams in the field and guide junior staff on sections of the audit file.
• Report to Responsible Individual’s and Brentwood Partner.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Audit Manager to join our team based in Brentwood with occasional travel to the Brighton office or to visit clients. This role will help to develop the operational capabilities of our highly regarded audit team to enable the division to continue to grow.

Brief Job Description

As an Audit Manager your role will involve:

• Running Audits from planning through to finalisation
• Managing Audit teams in the field, progressing more junior members to planning and testing on individual sections of the audit file
• Reporting to Responsible Individual’s and Brentwood Partner
• Preparing statutory accounts in compliance with FRS102, Charity SORP, etc

Requirements for the role

The Ideal Audit Manager will:

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified
• Have a strong background in Audit
• Be able to demonstrate a strong Technical knowledge
• Have experiencer with IRIS and working papers
