Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of a boutique accountancy practice seeking an Audit Manager to lead audit teams on group and international assignments and to drive the department's development.

The role requires ACA or ACCA with 3+ years PQE, 5+ years UK practice experience, strong UK GAAP/ISAs knowledge, excellent communication and client relationship skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with at least three years PQE.
• Minimum five years working in a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs, and be confident in its application.
• Excellent communication skills, be personable and approachable to build good rapport and working relationships with both clients and colleagues.
• Positive, proactive and solutions-focused.
• Experienced in audit and statutory accounts software.
• Open and enthusiastic about adopting new systems and technology.

Our client is looking to build its team with the addition of an Audit Manager - could this be you? The firm, a boutique accountancy practice that prides itself on providing high quality audit, accounts and tax services to a range of businesses and individuals, would like to speak to ACCA or ACA qualified, experienced audit professionals.

This role would suit someone with experience working at manager level or a qualified and highly experienced person ready for a step up to Manager and be an integral, key element of the team and not just 'a cog in a machine'. This is a full-time vacancy; however, a part time position may be considered for the right candidate.

As Audit Manager your responsibilities will include:
