Job summary

RSM UK in the External Audit graduate programme offers a pathway to becoming a Chartered Accountant while contributing to audits for a range of clients. You will work with audit colleagues to conduct thorough, risk-focused reviews of financial records, processes and controls, ensuring accuracy and building trust with stakeholders.

You’ll start studying toward the Chartered Accountant qualification soon after joining, taking exams in the early months with support from mentors.

Qualifications

• UCAS points requirements: A-levels or equivalent qualifications.
• Honours degree in a relevant field is expected.
• Right to work in the UK for this role.
• Strong written and verbal communication to convey complex information.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Ability to build relationships and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work with audit colleagues to conduct risk-focused reviews of clients' records.
• Help ensure accuracy of financial statements and build stakeholder trust.
• Become involved in client work quickly and grow to take on responsibilities.
• Travel to client sites as required and collaborate with teams.
